In all areas of life, many times it is easier to achieve our goals and dreams with help from others. That's why we like to call life coaching....Success Coaching! Others help to give perspective, accountability, and to celebrate the milestones as you reach the goal. Life coaching is defined as a type of training or development in which a "coach" supports a "coachee" in achieving a specific personal or professional goal. A coach posesses the expertise and experience to offer guidance and tools to help the coachee understand their mindsets, personality, behaviors, and barriers to reaching their potential. Coaching can vary from focusing on developing specific knowledge or competencies to working on their overall personal development.

 

During coaching, a coach will use several techniques such as asking questions to understand the coachee's perspective and thought process, challenging mindsets and beliefs to offer opportunities for the coachee to step outside of their typical thought patterns to continue to grow, and guidance toward possibilities and perspectives that the coachee may not be able to consider on their own. These techniques help the coachee to find answers and learn new ways of "being" based on their own values, preferences and perspectives. Coaching can help people understand much more about themselves than they have in the past; it can allow them to recognize their own reactionary behaviors, past experiences that are barriers for moving forward, how their emotions are impacting their mindset and so much more. As you can see we offer the ability to have sessions to fit any type of location. If a coachee prefers a face-to-face session we offer it. If a coachee is not located in our current area or is out of town for some reason we offer the ability to have virtual sessions by phone or video. We pride ourselves on doing what is necessary for clients to have us as a resource without impeding on or making life more difficult. Although, we do insist on the initial session being in-person or by video to allow a comfort and trust level to be built through visual interaction.

 

Furthermore, we offer the ability to customize the schedule and plan for your development. Initially, the coach will make a recommendation based on your description of goals and from their you identify what works for you and your schedule. This allows for each coachee to have what they need as often or as little as they feel they need it. As we aim to make coaching a valuable resource that does not complicate life more. The typical length of sessions is approximately 1-2 hrs long.
